Warriors blank Cougars

Whiteland rolled to a 9-0 triumph over Greenwood Christian on Monday. Kinsley Cleven, Madison Fleury and Kinley Waalkens each tallied two goals for the Warriors (2-0), with Rhianna Hardy, Alexa LaPorte and Elnora Stevenson adding one apiece. Addison Emberton posted her second shutout in as many matches.

Woodmen slip past Falcons

Joelle Young’s goal held up as the only offense in Greenwood’s 1-0 victory over Perry Meridian. Brooke Benefiel made two saves to preserve the shutout for the Woodmen (2-0, 1-0 Mid-State).

Center Grove defeats Bull Dogs

Lexi Wilson, Mia Marlin and Brooklyn Brown each scored a goal in Center Grove’s 3-1 home win over Columbus North. The Trojans (1-1) finished with an 11-3 advantage in shots on goal.

Trojans cruise past Artesians

No. 11 Center Grove got an even-par 36 from Amanda Wallace on the way to a 152-177 win over Martinsville at Foxcliff on Wednesday. Madisyn Bell finished with a 38 for the Trojans, while London Dodson and Zoe Land each shot a 39.

Lancers fall against Tigers

Edinburgh was defeated by Triton Central, 225-256. Macie Blandford shot a 49 to pace the Lancers in the loss.

Center Grove suffered a 25-18, 20-25, 25-22, 25-13 home setback against Trinity Lutheran on Monday.
