Robert “Bob” Frank Hensley

FRANKLIN

Robert “Bob” Frank Hensley, age 91, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

He was born December 30, 1932 in Johnson County, Indiana, the son of Lawrence C. and Helen (Kennedy) Hensley.

Bob was a dairy farmer for forty years, going into the dairy business with his father upon returning from the Army in 1955. He served during the Korean War.

He was a member of the Johnson County Farm Bureau, and served as a board member of the Johnson County Co-Op. He also served as a board member of the Nineveh Hensley Jackson School Corporation.

Bob is survived by his wife, Frieda J. (Dragoo); four children, Nancy E. Maddox (Jim), James L. Hensley, Julia A. Matlock (Rick) and Steve A. Hensley; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in passing by an infant son, Dean; his parents; sister, Juanita L. Kessen and brother-in-law, Richard Kessen.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
