Boys soccer

Trojans throttle Guerin

Two goals apiece from Austin Lowden and Saul Greenwood helped power Class 3A No. 3 Center Grove to a 6-1 rout of 2A No. 4 Guerin Catholic on Tuesday. Niekos Whitney and Owen Kalmas also tallied for the Trojans (6-0), while Evan Hewitt had a pair of assists.

Greenwood blanks Bruins

Emmanuel Jackson scored a goal and assisted on a Landon Vaziri score as Greenwood picked up a 2-0 victory over Tri-West. Za Sang also had an assist for the Woodmen (2-1).

Woodmen sweep Artesians

Greenwood blanked Martinsville, 5-0, on Tuesday. Carter Chatham, Nick Pruett and Keegan Lane were singles winners for the Woodmen (3-1, 2-0 Mid-State), Aiden Walton and Isaac Apgar earned a point at first doubles and the No. 2 duo of Seth McCauley and Thomas Satterfield was also victorious.

Warriors edged by Panthers

Whiteland took its first loss, 3-2, against Bloomington South. Spencer Gillespie was a three-set winner at first singles for the Warriors (6-1), who also got a straight-set victory at third singles from Jeremiah Hurt.

Girls volleyball

Lancers defeated by Yellow Jackets

Edinburgh suffered a 25-7, 25-10, 25-13 loss to Morristown on Tuesday. Kinzie Purvis had five kills for the Lancers, while Kenna Streeval pulled up 21 digs.

Trojans fall to Irish

Center Grove was swept by Cathedral, 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.
