Center Grove wins by one shot

Seventh-ranked Center Grove eked out a 168-169 triumph over No. 9 Batesville at Hillcrest on Tuesday. Magnolia Miller and Amanda Wallace each finished with a 40 to lead the Trojans, with London Dodson adding a 43 and Madisyn Bell a 45.

Braves split three-way

Indian Creek’s score of 220 was enough to beat South Putnam but three strokes back of Edgewood. Shelby Roach led the way for the Braves with a round of 47.

Edinburgh nipped by Olympians

Edinburgh suffered a narrow 3-2 setback against Columbus East on Tuesday. Both of the Lancers’ points came in doubles, with Braylon Lenkner and Rylan Londeree prevailing at No. 1 and Brinnyn Moss and Jayson Music winning in the second spot.

Grizzly Cubs stay unbeaten

Franklin improved to 10-0 overall and 3-0 in the Mid-State Conference by sweeping Perry Meridian on Tuesday, 25-20, 25-18, 25-22.

Trojans top Greyhounds in four

Center Grove defeated Carmel 25-20, 25-15, 19-25, 25-14. The Trojans improve to 6-2 with the victory.

Lancers swept by Twisters

Edinburgh lost to Oldenburg Academy 25-12, 25-12, 25-13. Kenna Streeval had six kills and 30 digs for the Lancers.
