FRANKLIN
Garry Allen Roadruck, 83 of Franklin, passed away on September 20, 2024.
He was born on March 20, 1941 in Rensselaer, Indiana to Melvin and Ernestine (Parrish) Roadruck. He married Patricia J. (McCain) Roadruck on November 25, 1967. She preceded him in passing on December 28, 2023. He is survived by daughter and her partner, Lissa Roadruck and Joseph Powell; granddaughter, Lilly Powell; sister and brother-in-law, Georgann (McCain) Rising and Paul E. Rising and five nieces. He was preceded in passing by his parents; brother, Richard L. Roadruck and wife, Patricia.
Garry was a 1959 graduate of Lawrence High School. He attended the John Herron Art Institute. He enlisted in the United States Army in June, 1964 where he was a decorated rifle marksman.
Garry retired from Indiana University Publications as a Senior Graphics Designer.
He enjoyed the arts and enjoyed cooking and music. He most enjoyed being a Papaw to his one and only granddaughter.
There will be no services at this time. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
