Warriors clinch Mid-State crown

No. 24 Whiteland completed a perfect run through the Mid-State Conference with a 5-0 sweep of Martinsville on Thursday, dropping just four games on the day. The Warriors (18-4, 7-0) have won 20 straight league matches and 48 of their last 49.

Edinburgh tops Brown County

A singles sweep powered Edinburgh to a 4-1 triumph over Brown County. Bailey Totten, Braden Cox and Jayson Music all won their respective matches for the Lancers, with Totten prevailing in a third-set tiebreak. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Brinnyn Moss and Raiden Stanley was also victorious.

Lancers edged in five sets

Edinburgh took a tough 25-10, 18-25, 24-26, 25-23, 15-13 loss against Crothersville on Thursday. Kenna Streeval had 13 kills and 60 digs for the Lancers, while Kinzie Purvis added 30 assists and three aces.

Trojans sweep Panthers

Class 4A No. 5 Center Grove picked up a 26-24, 25-10, 26-24 victory at Bloomington South, extending its win streak to seven and improving to 18-5 overall.
