FRANKLIN
Nina (Jasper) Burton Webb, 89 of Franklin, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
She was born on January 9, 1935 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Vestel and Rhoda (Singleton) Jasper. She married Kenneth Burton on April 7, 1954. He preceded her in passing on January 28, 2013. She later married Vilas Webb who preceded her in passing. Nina is survived by their son, Kenneth E. (Patricia) Burton; grandchildren, Jerel Barger, Carrie Burton, Stacey Crover (Mikael), Mandy Smith (Wayne), Katina Turner (Eric) and Jason Barger; step-grandchildren, Brian, Brent and Josh Colburn; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley Sallings and Alberta Taylor. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husbands, Kenneth and Vilas; daughter, Glenda K. Barger (Fred); siblings, M.C. Jasper, Goldie Fay Jasper, Sylvia Seng, Lloyd Jasper, Earl Jasper, and Berthal Jasper.
Nina attended school in Kentucky.
She was employed by Arvin Industries in Franklin, retiring in 2000 after several years of dedicated service.
Nina enjoyed going to the casino, playing games, and watching horse races. She loved going to church and listening to old gospel music. Nina was active in the Franklin Senior Center.
Visitation for Nina will be on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home at 2898 N. Morton Street Franklin, Indiana 46131.
Visitation will also be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m. at Morris &Hislope Funeral Home 5900 N. Hwy 27 Science Hill, Kentucky 42553. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Science Hill, Kentucky.
