The Johnson County Recycling District is hosting a composting lunch and learn on Oct. 17 from noon to 1 p.m.
Join composting expert, Laura Northrup Poland of Strawberry Moon Farm. Bring your lunch and take a break while learning the various composting techniques you can incorporate into your backyard.
Event will be held at the district’s office, 900 Arvin Road, Franklin. Sign-up is required and can be found at jcrd.org/events.
