Get new books to read for a good cause this weekend.
The event will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Johnson County Public Library’s Franklin Branch, 401 S. State St. The sale will be held in the parking lot.
Shoppers can purchase all the hardback and paperback books, DVDs or CDs they can put in a paper shopping bag for just $5.
The library’s community room will be stocked with rare and special-priced books and multi-set DVDs for sale. Credit cards, checks and cash are accepted for all purchases.
