Franklin

Criminal Mischief

87 Forest Road, NGroup: A member of asset protection reported at 9:22 a.m. Thursday that someone wrote two messages inside a bathroom stall in Spanish and that one message was threatening.

Narcotics

Crescent St. and Francis St.: An officer reported at 8:36 p.m. Thursday that he located a vehicle parked in a no parking zone and initiated a traffic stop, while speaking to the driver he detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. After a search narcotics were located and the driver was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a warning for parking in a no parking zone.

Theft

2080 E. King St.: A man reported to police at 3:55 p.m. Thursday that his bag he left behind by the bench on Longest Drive had been stolen, it contained an assortment of different items.

Burglary

900 block of Bentgrass Drive: Reported at 6:51 p.m. Thursday that a burglary had occurred.

Fraud

900 block of Fry Road: Reported at 12:10 p.m. Thursday that a fraud had occurred.

Personal-injury crashes

12:54 p.m. Wednesday — Main St. and Emerson Ave. A woman, 34, reported having pain and injury to her head. Three children reported having injuries.

1:35 p.m. Tuesday — 1133 N. Emerson Ave., parking lot. A woman, 80, reported having pain and injury to her head.

Property-damage crashes

4:54 p.m. Wednesday — U.S. 31 and W. Smith Valley Road

3:44 p.m. Wednesday — Smith Valley Road and Executive Park Drive

8 a.m. Tuesday — 1694 W. Main St., parking lot

5:41 p.m. Monday — N. Emerson Ave. and Wilson Drive

4:40 p.m. Monday — State Road 135 and Stonegate Drive

Thefts

11 Declaration Drive, Green Vape and Smoke: Reported at 3:43 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 4:37 p.m. Thursday that a woman was issued a summons to appear in court for theft.

820 W. Main St., Westside Park: Reported at 12:56 p.m. Thursday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.

800 block of Sylvan St.: Reported at 10:52 a.m. Thursday the theft of an Amazon package had occurred.

562 Fry Road, Best Buy: Reported at 9:01 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

Johnson County

Hit and Run

E. County Road 300 S. and S. Nineveh Road, Franklin: A man reported at 5:32 p.m. Thursday that a silver vehicle was partially in his lane and had side swiped his semi causing damage.

Property-damage crash
