Margaret Isabel Wurster

Margaret Wurster, aged 88, peacefully passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born September 29, 1936, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to George and Margaret (Adamson) Roberts.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of over 70 years, James Wurster; her son, James Wurster, Jr.; daughters-in-law Drema Wurster and Lee Ham; granddaughters Sarah Morris, Heidi Wurster, and Kate Wurster; great-grandchildren Jesse Morris and Julianna Tyler; and sisters Marline Ingram and Maxine (John) Pease; and brother, George Roberts, Jr.

Margaret was preceded in death by her sons Joe (Drema) Wurster and John Wurster; daughter-in-law Larrietta Wurster; granddaughter Rachel Wurster; and siblings Eva Duarte, Mary (Karl) Kaiser, Linda Roberts, Silvery Roberts, Alex Roberts, and Randy Roberts.

Margaret worked at the 3 generation family butcher shop with her husband on the city market for many years.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Margaret loved to cook and care for her home.

A Celebration of Margaret’s life on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with Visitation on Thursday, October 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
