If the last three days are any indication, the future of swimming in Johnson County is extremely bright.

In most cases, being a two-sport athlete gives far more than it takes.

The coaching bug is a hard one to shake.

The University of Indianapolis softball squad won five of its first six games at the Spring Games tournament with senior catcher Lexy Rees, a Greenwood graduate, accounting for six hits, including a triple and two doubles. Junior teammate Dominique Proctor had five hits, driving in six runs.

Too many adults go to work every day wishing they had a different job. Sportsmen, who spend their days dreaming about being on the water or in the woods, toil in hospitals, factories, sales jobs and on construction sites wishing they could make a living in the outdoor industry. Most write off the idea as too far-fetched, but it’s really not.
