Franklin swim coach Zach DeWitt enjoyed his celebratory post-sectional jump into the pool on Saturday as much as he had any of the ones that came before it, but perhaps not for as long as one might expect given how long he’d had to wait for it.

Eight Center Grove wrestlers spent Friday jumping the fine line separating qualifiers from championship contenders.

Greenwood’s enrollment hasn’t changed a whole lot over the last few years, but its place on the landscape of Indiana high school sports is about to shift significantly.

Senior catcher Lexy Rees totaled four hits, including two home runs, while driving in five runs and stealing two bases as the University of Indianapolis softball team opened its season winning three of four games against Mercyhurst. Teammate Dominique Proctor, also a Greenwood graduate, had three hits and scored four runs overall.
