INDIANAPOLIS

Indian Creek showed heart, guts and courage on their way to beating a very good Northview team on Friday night in last-second fashion. The Braves’ 22-21 win came courtesy of a quarterback that seemed to make every play down the stretch and a kicker that came through in the clutch.

Sophomore linebacker Gavin Ruppert, a Greenwood graduate, led the Wabash football team in tackles with 13 in a 45-35 win over the College of Wooster.

With one of its mainstays out of the lineup this week, some might have had questions about how sharp and cohesive Franklin would be with a slightly different lineup as postseason play dawned. Any such questions got answered quickly and emphatically on Thursday evening.
