MORGANTOWN
Kenneth W. Hauer, age 83, of Morgantown, IN, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, at his home.
He was born on October 30, 1940, in Vallonia, IN to the late Tilford A. H. Hauer &Lillian E. Graham Hauer. Kenneth graduated from Vallonia High School in 1958. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was an Indiana Conservation Officer (Captain Hauer).
On May 23, 1992, in Morgantown, Kenneth married Beth Boullie Hauer and she survives. Other survivors include: a son, Thomas (Darlene) Hauer of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren: Amanda (Corey) Koshinski &Thomas (Sarah) Hauer, Jr. both of St. Augustine, FL; great grandchildren: Maggie &Makayla Koshinski, Charlotte, Jack, &Luke Hauer; one brother, Steve (Peggy) Hauer of Scottsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth W. Hauer, Jr.; brothers: Carl W Hauer., Melvin L. Hauer, Keith D. Hauer, Tilford A. H. Hauer, Jr., Richard Hauer, Michael (Mickey) Hauer, &Ricky L. Hauer; one sister, Patricia A. Hauer Shepard.
Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman/sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, and bush hogging.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Pastor Burt Brock officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery and military graveside rites will be conducted. Memorial contributions may be given to Traditions Hospice.
