Richard Armond Spriggs II, 65, of Atlanta, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014.
Richard was born in Chicago, to the late Richard A. and C. Maxine (Jessup) Spriggs of Hoopeston, Ill.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenda Spriggs of Roswell, Ga.; children, Tina (Bill) Bogart and Richard (Annette) Spriggs III of North Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren, Hannah, Heather, Kaiden, Kristian, Jesse and Taylor; a sister, Carol Armstrong (Garry Manes) of Matteson, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Phillip Massenburg and Angel Clifton of Chicago, Sheldon Hamilton, Corey Hamilton and Kendsey Baker of Morgantown.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Dunn.
Richard was retired from Arvin Industries and most recently Unipro Food Service as vice president of logistics. He contributed his time as a young adult to both the Masons and Jaycees.
Darrel Miller will conduct a celebration of life service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Crown Hill Chapel, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis. Calling will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
