Linda L. Barton, 66, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015.
Linda was born April 16, 1948, to the late Regina (Lowther) and Travis Swiger. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Barton; children, Treva Benjamin (Jason Steele), Joseph E. Barton III and Heather L. Barton; grandchildren, Cara Benjamin, Brandon Benjamin and Mikayla Barton; and former son-in-law, Alan Benjamin.
Linda was preceded in death by a son, Joseph E. Barton II; grandson, Shane Haldorsen; and siblings, Travis Swiger and Sue McElfresh.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., with calling from noon to service time.
Linda was a member of Greenwood Christian Church, where memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Operation Care, 2045 Averitt Road, Greenwood, IN 46143.
