GREENWOOD
Dorothy L. Bond Hobson, 104, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015.
She retired in 1971 from Merchant National Bank and Trust Co., where she worked for 20 years as an administrative secretary and previously worked as secretary for the Salvation Army headquarters in Chicago and Indianapolis.
Dorothy was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital and Community Hospital South and was active in the senior program at Baxter YMCA.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Bond; second husband, Albert Hobson; and a son, William Bond.
She is survived by her sisters in-law, June Hobson, Gloria Clark and Irene Harrah; a niece; and several nephews.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
