<p>William “Bill” Shores, 87, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.</p>
<p>He was born March 29, 1929, to Howard and Gladys Shores in Clinton.</p>
<p>Bill served in the U.S. Navy and retired from a long career with The Indianapolis Star newspaper.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara; and his daughter, Tara Jo Lemrick of Dallas, Texas.</p>
<p>Visitation will be from noon until time of service at 1:30 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. A graveside service will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.</p>
