EDINBURGH
Julia Mai (Jennings) Barrett, 90 of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, at Franklin Meadows in Franklin.
She was born May 28, 1926, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Carl R. and Ethel M. (Wallace) Jennings.
She married Lowell D. Barrett on Nov. 25, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1991.
She is survived by a son, Tim (Rhonda) Barrett of Edinburgh; grandson, Seth Barrett of Edinburgh; and sisters, Marie Henderson of Edinburgh and Carlene Schafer of Evans, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Eleanor Coats.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Edinburgh.
It was Julia’s wishes that she be cremated and for there to not be any calling or a service.
