EDINBURGH
Stephen L. “Novi” Thompson, 66, of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Our Hospice In-Patient Facility in Columbus.
He was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Franklin. He was the son of Everett and Edelle (Roush) Thompson.
He married Pam T. (Green) Thompson on Aug. 2, 1975.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Angie Thompson of Edinburgh; an uncle, Kenton (Mary Alice) Roush of Carmel; and an aunt, Wendola Thompson of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church.
He was employed in CEW Enterprises in North Vernon as a purchasing manager. He formally was employed at Como Plastics in Columbus. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed fishing.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Sean Johnson at Edinburgh United Methodist Church. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
