In what has become an annual tradition, a Franklin-based church is opening its doors to the community to share Christmas dinner together.
Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 E. Adams St., will host the free meal from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. This will be the eighth year for the dinner, and organizers are anticipating more than 800 to attend.
Dinner will include ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, tossed salad, rolls and dessert.
Meals are available for carryout from 1:30 to 4 p.m., and delivery may be requested to a home or business, and will be brought between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
