Fire set inside Franklin Car Wash

Someone shattered the windows and set a fire inside Franklin Car Wash near U.S. 31 this week.

Police responded to a report of building damage shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. A man reported that someone broke into the building at 575 Lemley St., and set a fire, which was out when officers arrived.

The vandal cut the plastic off the bay door to gain entry into the building. The fire was set near the south bay door, the police report said.

Two windows were also broken out on the east side of the building.
