Warriors star picks college
Andrew Morgan, an All-County midfielder for the Whiteland boys soccer team, signed a letter of intent Monday to play next season at the University of Indianapolis.
Morgan, who had six goals and five assists for the Warriors as a senior, joins fellow All-County selection Connor Campbell of Center Grove in the Greyhounds’ incoming freshman class.

Softball opens with sweep
The Franklin College softball team opened its season on Sunday with a doubleheader sweep of Berea (Kentucky) College.
The Grizzlies won the opener, 6-0, behind a two-hit shutout from Olivia Paszek, who struck out 10. In the nightcap, Franklin rolled to an 18-1 victory behind seven RBIs from Alexis Tarver. Baylea Lyons went 3 for 4 and scored four runs.
