<p><strong>To the editor:</strong></p>
<p>On Sept. 24, when I saw the Colts lock arms to protest the national anthem and the flag, I turned off the TV, gathered all the Colts items in my house and threw them in the trash.</p>
<p>Until the Colts and NFL apologize, I will never support them again.</p>
<p>Being a former military man, I have stood at attention and saluted the flag-draped coffin of a real American hero. When they are laid to rest, the flag is respectfully folded and presented to the family of the real American hero.</p>
<p>Because the stupidity of the NFL, that flag has been tarnished.</p>
<p>I would ask every military family and true Americans to boycott the NFL.</p>
