Betty Warner

WEDGEFIELD, SOUTH CAROLINA

Betty Berniece Wood Warner, age 82, beloved wife of 46 years to Bobby Gene Warner, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Franklin, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Daniel Wood and Ina Mae Whetstine Jolliffe. Betty was an avid football fan, reader and animal lover. She was very patriotic and supported her country. She was fair-minded and treated everyone the same. She was very family oriented and her true joy was spending time with her loved ones. Betty was an active member of the Wedgefield Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: four daughters, Vicky Jo Niccum and Rachel Lee Niccum Andrews of Indianapolis, Indiana; Susan Warner Shaw and her husband Paul of Scranton, SC and Karen Lynn Warner of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Robert David Warner and his wife Virginia Rose Warner and Allen Douglas Warner and Tammy all of Florence, SC; one son-in-law, John Coward of Sumter; four brothers, Clarence Daniel Wood, Jr., David Wood, Timothy Joe Wood and Philip M. Wood; three sisters, Rita Kay Kneller, Susan Wood and Janice Wood; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Jane Coward.

Services will be private.
