You can learn how Victorians made the valentines and celebrated Valentine’s Day in an upcoming event.
The Johnson County Museum of History, 135 N. Main St., Franklin, is hosting a Victorian Valentine’s workshop from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 10.
Visitors will learn about the history of Valentine’s Day, see historic valentines for inspiration, and then create a holiday masterpiece to give to family or friends. All ages are welcome.
The event is free and materials and light refreshments will be served.
