INDIANAPOLIS
Sheila Kay Crawford, 68, Indianapolis, passed away on January 26, 2018. Born September 6, 1949 in Joplin, Missouri, she was the oldest child of the late Denis & Patricia Jent. She was a hair stylist for 42 years, and finished her career at Clip Joint. An avid gardener, she enjoyed needle point, puzzles, bingo, sewing and audio books.
Survivors include her daughters, Monica Lemon (Dave Daugherty) and Gina (Bryan) Riley; grandchildren, Taylor and Peyton Vaziri, Griffin and Ayris Finchum and Madison Riley; one great-grandchild, Nova Britt; sister, Carla (Paul) Baase; brother, Daryl Jent. She was a beloved aunt.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Carlie; and brother, Michael.
Visitation will be 4-8 :00 PM Tuesday, January 30 and from 11-1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue, 5141 Madison Ave.
The funeral will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com.
