<p><strong>Grizzly Cubs top Hawks</strong></p>
<p>Franklin pulled out a wild 10-6 victory over Decatur Central on Tuesday. Luke Miles and Blake Dicken had three hits apiece for the Grizzly Cubs (10-12, 5-6 Mid-State).</p>
<p><strong>Trojans blank Lawrence North</strong></p>
<p>Josh Johnson tossed a three-hit shutout, striking out 10, as Center Grove defeated Lawrence North on Tuesday, 3-0. The Trojans (16-9, 9-4 MIC) got two doubles from Mikey Wyman.</p>

<p><strong>Woodmen blank Grizzly Cubs</strong></p>
<p>Karlee Denham outdueled Izzy Harrison as Greenwood earned a 1-0 victory over Franklin on Tuesday in a rematch of the county championship game.</p>
<p>Harrison allowed three hits and struck out nine in defeat.</p>
<p><strong>Trojans clinch MIC title</strong></p>
<p>Abby Herbst struck out 10 in a four-hitter as Center Grove capped a perfect conference season with an 8-1 win over Lawrence North on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Jordyn Rudd homered for the Trojans (24-1, 7-0 MIC).</p>
<p><strong>Braves edge Warriors</strong></p>
<p>Kasey Wilhoit and Rachel Kyle homered to help Indian Creek edge Whiteland, 9-7, on Monday. Wilhoit’s two-run shot put the Braves up for good in the sixth inning.</p>
<p>Girls tennis</p>
<p><strong>Warriors earn 15th win</strong></p>
<p>Whiteland closed the regular season with a 4-1 win over University on Tuesday. The Warriors (15-4) got singles victories from Reese Johnson and Sophie Venter in the first and third spots.</p>
<p>The No. 1 doubles team of Bri Harwell and Sarah Scott won in straight sets, while the No. 2 tandem of Hannah Blum and Riley Burnside didn’t drop a game.</p>

<p><strong>Braves top Spartans</strong></p>
<p>Scott Russell led all players with a 39 and Chandler Donahue added a 42 as Indian Creek defeated Southwestern (Shelbyville), 178 to 199, on Monday.</p>

<p><strong>Greenwood’s Young signs with ISU</strong></p>
<p>Nick Young, a senior who owns the Greenwood school record in the discus and won county titles this spring in both the discus and shot put, signed a letter of intent to compete in both events at Indiana State next year.</p>

<p><strong>Warriors hire new head coach</strong></p>
<p>Anthony Meister, a 2007 Whiteland graduate, was approved Tuesday night as the new head wrestling coach at his alma mater. Meister, who was a state qualifier in 2005, has most recently been serving as an assistant coach at Columbus North.</p>
