<p>Anglers who want to indulge their hobby can cast their reels for free this weekend.</p>
<p>The Johnson County Parks staff is hosting a Free Fishing Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 19.</p>
<p>The event is being conducted the in conjunction with Indiana Department of Natural Resource’s state-wide select free fishing days.</p>
<p>The fishing day will take place at Lake Cottonwood in Johnson County Park. The fishing day is open to everyone and is free. Those wanting to participate do not need a fishing license this day.</p>
<p>The Indiana Department of Natural Resources also has free fishing days on June 2 and 3. Free fishing days mean residents do not need a fishing license to fish on the state’s water ways.</p>
