Ivy Tech Community College has hired a new site director for its Franklin campus.
Joshua Rockey, who has been a full-time faculty member for Ivy Tech since 2006, will be the site director for Ivy Tech’s Franklin campus, a news release said.
Rockey’s responsibilities will include recruiting and supervising staff and faculty, managing the site’s budget and coordinating which classes are offered, an Ivy Tech spokesperson said.
Rockey previously worked at Ivy Tech in Kokomo as program chair of communication, department chair in the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education, and interim director of the Learning Resource Center, a news release said. He has also been involved in curriculum development and creating innovative teaching practices at the regional and state level for Ivy Tech, the release said.
