Letter: Thanks to local company for inspiring son through internship

To the editor:

We want to acknowledge a locally owned and operated Franklin company, Industrial Controls & Automation. The company, started by Whiteland High School graduate Tony Daily in 1994, recently offered an internship to my son, Keagan Finkenbine, who is about to enter his sophomore year in college.

He found the internship “fascinating” and “really awesome” and the employees were very friendly and helpful. He was energized by the experience and is now fully committed to pursuing an engineering degree.

We wanted to recognize the company for such a wonderful educational experience and for making a difference.
