Woodmen win three-way

Greenwood defeated Roncalli and New Palestine on Thursday, putting up 149 points to top the second-place Rebels by 50.

The Woodmen set a school record in the 200-yard medley relay (1:54.17) behind Charli Graves, Madison Peckinpaugh, Grace Nuhfer and Alayna Kenworthy. Nuhfer also established a new school mark in the 100 butterfly (58.56).

Trojan fall athletes honored

Center Grove held its fall sports recognition program this week and honored members of each of its teams.

Earning team MVP honors were Gabrielle Harrell (girls cross country), Trey Thixton (boys tennis), Lucy Young (girls golf), Luke Boha (boys soccer) and Emily Groce (cheerleading). Cade Lansdell won the Academic Award for football, Gracyn Montfort took the Coaches’ Award in girls soccer, Santina Schembra (volleyball) earned the Red & White Award and Archit Malik was named Mr. Cross Country.
