<p>DIY HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 20, Trafalgar library, 424 S. Tower St. Make ornaments. Christmas music will be playing and hot chocolate will be served.</p><p>Christmas is less than a week away and you can get in the Christmas spirit by making your own ornament.</p><p>The Trafalgar library is hosting a DIY ornament event today. Patrons can listen to Christmas music and sip on hot chocolate while making a last-minute Christmas gift or making the item that is the last perfect touch to the tree.</p><p>The library will provide all the materials and refreshments. Register in advance at pageafterpage.org.</p><p>INDIANAPOLIS HIKING CLUB, FRANKLIN HIKE, 3 p.m. Dec. 23, hike to see the Christmas lights in downtown Franklin.</p><p>Get your exercise in and keep your holiday cheer at the same time.</p><p>The Indianapolis Hiking Club is hosting a hike on Sunday that will go around downtown Franklin to check out the holiday lights.</p><p>Hikers will go past the Johnson County courthouse on the 6- to 7-mile hike. The courthouse boasts lights on the trees outside the courthouse, lights on trees around the courthouse square and lights hung from the top of the historic building.</p><p>The hike starts at Beeson Hall and hikers will stop at a private home midway through for cookies, hot chocolate and hot tea.</p><p>The Indianapolis Hiking Club annually hosts hikes around central Indiana. Participants are also invited to get in full holiday fun gear to join a Christmas Eve walk in downtown Indianapolis.</p>
