The Greenwood VFW is hosting a New Year’s Eve party.
Post 5864 will host their annual New Year’s Eve party 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31 to Jan. 1 at the post, 333 S. Washington St.
The cost of the event is a donation. Tony Kirk will play popular music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
Finger foods and desserts will be served, attendees are welcome to bring in food. Champagne and noise makers as well as a 50-50, raffle and door prizes will be available. The theme of this year’s event is “Canteen Carnival”. Since the event will be held in the front area, the bar area, a limited amount of people will be able to attend.
At the end of the evening, biscuits and gravy will be served.
