<p>All voters in school district have say on referendum issue</p><p>To the editor:</p><p>A while back, a democrat friend and I were talking about the upcoming primary election on May 7. He was wondering since there was no democrat ballot, if a registered democrat could vote for the school referendum? I didn’t know, but it was a good question.</p><p>So I called our democrat member of the election board, Cindy Rapp, and explained our concern. She said yes, there is a way. A registered democrat can ask for as special school referendum ballot, even thought there is no democrat ballot for the May 7 primary election.</p><p>We were both glad to hear it. Since then, other democrats spoken to have wondered the same thing. I hope this is helpful to other registered democrat voters.
