A Greenwood woman was arrested on a warrant in connection with a dog’s death in Greenwood.
Amanda Morgan Setser, 28, 291 Shady Brook Heights, Greenwood, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Police were seeking Setser’s arrest in connection with a dog that died of starvation in January.
Setser had moved out of the home where the dog lived, but told police her estranged husband likely was not staying at the home either and that there was no plan in place to care for the dog, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Setser was arrested earlier this week on the same charge and over the same incident.
