TOUCH A TRUCK, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Greenwood Parks Maintenance Lot, South Madison Avenue and East Smith Valley Road.

Area children — and kids of all ages — can satisfy their curiosity and wonder related to all things truck related during this special event. Sit behind the wheel of a massive fire truck, climb the tires of real-life tractor and explore works trucks of all different kinds. Greenwood and county departments will bring their trucks together for one see-inspiring morning, and area companies will join in the fun with their own vehicles. Cost to attend is $2 per child.

ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL, noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Mallow Run Winery, 6964 W. Whiteland Road.

Mallow Run’s Labor Day weekend tradition will feature music, food trucks and of course the winery’s wide selection of wines, ciders and other beverages. Country-rock outfit the Blue River Band will perform 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, while duo Mike & Joe play 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Stella Luna and the Satellites will rock the crowd from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday. Admission to the winery and concerts is free.
