James “Jim” and Shirley Kirkham of Greenwood will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a trip later in the year.
Mr. Kirkham and his wife, the former Shirley Ann Clouse were married Sept. 3, 1954 in Indianapolis.
He retired after selling his business, Ace Battery Inc. in Indianapolis.
She is a homemaker and also retired from Ace Battery Inc.
The couple has three children, Denise “Dee” Kirkham, James “Jay” (Pam) Kirkham II and Hugh (Nancy) Kirkham all of Greenwood; four grandsons and one granddaughter and four great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
