To the editor:
The Republican-dominated U.S. Senate and the Grim Reaper Mitch McConnell proved they are traitors to the U.S. Constitution and the oath they swore to protect the sovereignty of our country by denying witnesses and documents in Trump’s impeachment. If Trump was innocent of the charges, they would not have stonewalled efforts to get the truth.
Trump blocked the testimony and documents during the House investigation because he is guilty as sin, and his enablers in the Senate betrayed their oath of office by blocking testimony during the Senate trial.
I hope all real Americans remember this in November when they go to the polls.
