Mills returning to state meet
Center Grove senior diver Kenzie Mills finished fourth at the Bloomington South Regional on Tuesday night to secure a spot in the state meet on Saturday.
Mills, who was 18th in the state a year ago, posted an 11-dive score of 428.25, just .05 points back of third place. Mooresville swept the top three spots, with Sadie Mills’ 486.75 taking first place.

Reed nets weekly honor
Greenwood Christian junior Izzy Reed was named the IBCA girls basketball player of the week for District 3 after leading the Cougars to a second straight sectional title.
Reed, who has won the weekly honor twice this season, totaled 73 points, 46 rebounds and 19 assists in three GCA wins. She also grabbed her 1,000th career rebound in the sectional final win over Indianapolis Lutheran.
The Class A No. 8 Cougars (21-5) play in the Southwestern Regional on Saturday.
