JOHNSON COUNTY EXTENSION HOMEMAKERS are seeking vendors for the spring craft fair.

The fair will be at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 7 in Scott Hall and Herring Hall at the Johnson County Fairground in Franklin. Booth rental fees are $35 or $40 with electricity.

The fair features items such as: ceramics, handmade jewelry, handicrafts, folk art, wood items, candles and more. For information, call 317-736-3724.

THE QUILT CONNECTION GUILD will meet at 7 p.m. March 5 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church, 525 N. Madison Ave., Greenwood.

Guest speakers will be Donna and Bill Hendricks, they have been involved in "living history" and military reenactments for 50 years. They will be giving a presentation on costume design and sewing.

The program will focus on the fabrics and patterns used in uniforms and civilian clothing in the 18th and 19th centuries. They will also discuss the role quilts played in the Civil War.
