JENNIFER CHIAVERINI, 7 p.m. Monday, The Sycamore at Mallow Run, 7070 W. Whiteland Road, Bargersville.

Jennifer Chiaverini has blended her love for writing with a passion for history to create a best-selling line of historical fiction novels. Her popular titles include "Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker," "Fates and Traitors" and the Elm Creek Quilts series, which filters struggle, triumph and friendship between women through the lens of quilting.

Chiaverini will share her inspiration for writing during a special presentation, part of the Johnson County Public Library’s Author At JCPL series. Admission is free, but people are asked to register at pageafterpage.org/authors-at-jcpl. Wild Geese Bookshop will be on hand selling copies of Chiaverini’s books.
