St. Francis to enforce visitor restrictions

<p>St. Francis Hospital will be suspending visitation due to growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.</p><p>The southside campus now has the following restrictions in place:</p><p><ul><li>The main entrance, outpatient and emergency room will be the points of access. All other entrances will be locked down.</li><li>Any COVID-19 positive patient will not be allowed visitors, except the parents of a child who is a patient with COVID-19 or in the case end of life situations.</li><li>Women in labor will be allowed one visitor, a spouse or partner during labor and delivery.</li><li>A mother who is providing breastmilk to a NICU infant will be allowed to remain in the facility for the duration of the NICU stay for that purpose.</li><li>Emergency room patient, one visitor will be allowed only for patients that do not have actual or legal capacity or under 18.</li><li>For surgical patients no visitors will be allowed except for patients that do not have actual or legal capacity or patients under 18, can have one visitor.</li></ul></p>
