Annalee Denham Delk

INDIANAPOLIS

Mrs. Annalee Denham Delk, of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, May 8, 2020. She was 94. Annalee was born January 19, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late James William and Rose May Denham.

Annalee was a graduate of Southport High School and had been employed for 24 years with American United Life Insurance Company (AUL) retiring in 1988 as a policy loan supervisor. She was a member of the AUL Retirees and AUL 20-Year Club, Southport High School Alumni Association as well as the Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene.

Annalee is survived by her children, Thomas (Diane) Delk and Peggy Crumley; her grandchildren, Curtis Delk, Kelly Delk, Ryan (Becky) Crumley and Laura (Scott) Tidwell; her great-grandchildren, Curtis Delk, Alex Delk, Whitney Delk, Andrew Delk, Jackson Crumley, Tessa Crumley, Eli Tidwell, Hannah Tidwell and Nathaniel Tidwell as well as her sister, Sara Faye (Rev. Leaon) Griswold and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of over 58 years, Lloyd C. Delk; her son-in-law, Ron Crumley and her siblings, James Denham and Rosemary Mullins.

Service for Annalee will be private with Pastor Ron Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.

Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 South Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, is entrusted with the arrangements.
