<p><strong>Annual golf scramble set for August</strong></p><p>The ninth annual Joey Proctor Charity Golf Scramble will be held on Aug. 10 at Valle Vista Golf Club. Proceeds will benefit the Joey Proctor Scholarship, given each year to a graduating senior at Whiteland. This year’s recipient was former Warrior girls golfer Kierra Mitchell.</p><p>Entry fee for the tournament is $75 per player and includes beverage service and a four-entree buffet dinner. Check-in will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
