To the editor:
Members of the administration ordered police to clear a crowd of peaceful protesters in Washington, D.C., so that the president could "bravely" walk from the White House across a public park, stand in front of a church holding a Bible and pose for a political ad photo. I’m not sure what version of the Bible the president was holding. Perhaps Mr. Trump thought Jesus was referring to the Colt Model P single-action revolver when he said, "Blessed are the peacemakers."
