<p>Donald Joe and Betty King are celebrating their 72nd wedding anniversary with a family gathering.</p><p>Mr. King and his wife, the former Betty McDonald were married July 3, 1948 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Hanover.</p><p>He has worked for Jefferson Proving Ground, Whirlpool, Camp Atterbury and retired from Allied Signal.</p><p>Betty is retired from Mutual Building and Loan.</p><p>The couple have five children, the late Shirley DePrez; Cindy King of Franklin, Jerry King of Greenwood, Melody Jordan of Greenwood, Melody Jordan of Greenfield and Susan Smith of Madison; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.</p>
