WHITELAND, INDIANA
Conrad Wayne Ramsey, 83, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
Conrad was born on March 1, 1937 in Webbtown (Macon County)Tennessee to the late Rev. Carroll Ramsey and Clovis (Barton) Ramsey.
On December 24, 1964 in Whiteland, Indiana, Conrad married the love of his life, Shirley Wagle, who preceded him in death.
Conrad retired from Allison Gas Turbine as the R&D Model Shop Supervisor after 37 years of dedication in 1991 and later retired from Congra Food’s as a purchasing agent. He was a member of the Greenwood Bible Baptist Church in Greenwood, Indiana. He loved to read, and learn about history. He enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his family.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sister, Anita Akins.
Conrad is survived by his son, Eric Tyler Ramsey, of Whiteland, Indiana; his brother, Jerry Ramsey, of LaFayette, Tennessee; his granddaughter, Madison Ramsey; many loved ones and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
