Dale and Barbara (Allen) Mitchell celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
They were married on August 6, 1950 at Trafalgar Christian Church in Trafalgar.
The couple will be celebrating with a private family gathering on Saturday.
Dale and Barbara are both retired.
The couple have five children, Lennis (Ellen) Mitchell, Janet Schantz, Bruce (Kim) Mitchell, Judy (Joe) Wells, Jill (Allen) Whitehurst, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
